How to split a class or export results from Equipe APP for a splitted class

Split class

An administrative organiser might need to split a class in several cases, for example, when the decision is made that the class would be split into to several classes, i.e. a special class is created for ponies of several categories or there are too many participants and rules require to have two or several separate classes.

Split can be initiated after the split class function is done in Equipe APP before or after the results are exported to Equibel.

Please ensure that the split has been done correctly in Equipe APP before importing the results.

There are 3 steps to follow:

Step 1. Split class in Equipe APP, confirm all results and distribute prize money.

Step 2. Split class in Equibel. The button to split class will appear when show is in LIVE or Event ended status:

Add the names of the original class and of a new class exactly as they are in Equipe APP, for example, 1 and 1A. Copy-paste the code from Equipe APP if needed (when the code is a bit complex to reproduce):

Click on Confirm. After the split class is done, for an old class and new class, you can adjust classes names and also the sections, i.e. remove or add ponies categories. All other parameters will be cloned from the source class, incl payments.

Repeat cloning if you would need to have several more classes from the original class.

Step 3: Export the results from Equipe APP to Equibel as normal OR if Split class is done after results´ export, check the Results interface and confirm the added results.

Split class will transfer the entries from original class to the new class / classes and recalculate payables for these entries after results are exported.
