Equibel is seamlessly integrated with the FEI entry system, FEI calendar web services, and results web services.
The import of shows and events is a fully automated process. Data on shows and events, including their statuses, is synchronized on a daily basis and updated automatically. FEI shows are created per discipline, ensuring that all events of the same discipline are grouped under the respective show. Consequently, Equibel features separate shows for Jumping and Dressage in cases where the FEI show includes both disciplines.
Each entry is automatically synced with the FEI entry system, when created or updated in Equibel. For instance, when a candidacy entry is submitted, it is synced as a draft entry to the entry system. Similarly, any changes made to an entry, such as deletion, approval by National federation (NF), placement on the waiting list, or inclusion in the definite list, are also automatically synced with the FEI entry system. In addition, updates to bedding type or notes on a horse are synced with the FEI entry system. Moreover, a comprehensive daily data synchronization process, scheduled early in the morning, is in place to sync all entries for all events in the system. This synchronization process also encompasses changes made to entries by the Organizing Committee (OC), such as the approval or rejection of entries. For added convenience, Equibel provides a function that enables the triggering of a full data exchange on entries for a single show, including all events of the same discipline. This function is accessible from the Masterlist.
Please note, if action on entry is not allowed (athlete or horse doesn´t qualify for event, suspended, has entries to another event on the same event etc), the error from FEI entry system will be synced and displayed in Equibel. The error message language and format will be preserved and not translated to the languages of Equibel.
The import of results is a fully automated process. Results are imported to the same shows/events where the entries have been recorded. This occurs on a daily basis, and once all results are recorded, the status of a show changes to "results published". This change triggers the automated calculations of rankings, handicaps, and qualifications, as well as the automated processing of invoices for definite entries.
The synchronization of entries and results is based on the FEI ID of athletes and horses. It is important to ensure FEI IDs correctness in the database of athletes and horses.
