Max limits

In Equibel, the following max limits can be set up to regulate the number of entries and/ or check if athlete, horse or combination has access to make an entry:

• max number of entries for the whole event
• max number of entries for competition day (sum of entries for all classes of the day)
• max number of entries for a competition
• max number of entries for group of competitions selected by administrative authority - can be used as a workaround if several arenas are used and/or when some competitions should be excluded from counting (for example, these are administrative listings)

• max number of athletes for the whole event
• max number of athletes for competition day
• max number of athletes for group of competitions selected by user

• max number of horses per athlete per event
• max number of horses per athlete per competition day
• max number of horses per athlete per competition
• max number of horses per athlete per group of competitions

• max number of products

• max number of products per athlete/horse combination

  
  

Max limits feature in backlog:

• Max number of starts horse can do per day, including defaults for disciplines

For the maximum number of athletes and maximum number of entries, the entry is only counted if it is confirmed (paid). In addition to the entry form, these limits are also checked in the shopping basket as the user may attempt to make more entries than there are available slots. In this case, the user will need to choose which entry will be paid.

For the maximum number of horses per athlete, the check is based on the total number of entered horses, including both unpaid and paid entries.

The maximum limits are only enforced during the period when the show is open for online entries. Once this period ends, administrative authorities have the ability to add new entries without regard to these limits.

To check and set up max limits

1. Enter "Dashboard" from event page

2. To establish limits for each competition day, press the Edit button. To set limits for a specific competition, select "set max" from the actions for competition. Registration limits for the entire event and for groups of competitions will be displayed at the bottom of the screen.

3. Verify the limits after their setup
   • If the functionality to establish limits for a group of competitions is utilized, the competition codes of the group will be displayed in the "details" section
   • For each limit that is established (with the exception of the maximum number of horses per athlete), the number of confirmed entries will be compared to the maximum limit that has been set up
   • If a limit has not been set up, the corresponding column will display "not set"
